The name came from the ancient river Elixos, which flew in the area. Having started from Ioulida either on foot or by car we reach Agios Konstantinos after 1.5 km of turnpike. There is a scenic small church and a homonymous marble spring. We go down the paved trail which leads us to Mulopotamos. We turn left and enter the valley of Flea with its gardens, fruit-bearing trees, running water along the route and the old watermills, which are no longer in use but can still be visited-at least some of them. The water keeps falling on “varadi”, the big sink where the water gushed from and made the mill turn. After a short ascent we reach the road that leads to Flea, the spring with the most water on the island. As soon as we admire Flea (fleva=vein) and drink from the spring, we return to Mulopotamos, which is the end of our trekking route.
