This is one more route that leads to the archeological area of Karthaia. It starts from Havuna, the most southern settlement of Kato Meria area. It is the shortest and the least travelled route, due to its remote starting point. Those who have a car prefer driving on a bad dirt road, which will lead them to the beach of Kaliskia and from that point on they will easily access Karthaia. We will follow the trail, pass by Agios Taxiarhis and reach a turning. On the left and in a short distance from Karthaia there is route 6, whereas on the right we see the beautiful beach of Kaliskia. Since our destination is Karthaia, we take route 6 and not the small trail of Kaliskia.
